We enjoyed our final meeting of 2015 at a Christmas party held at Micky Robinson's home. Thanks, Micky, for being such a gracious hostess.
We have had a wonderful quilting year and learned many useful things. We have also enjoyed the friendship and social time that we have had together.
At our party we had a delicious lunch and appreciated the gifts that Marla provided. We all needed and will use the nice flashlights. Thank you Marla.
We also had a short show and tell. Margaret showed three beautiful items that she made with the Christmas fabric that she got at the guild auction. All three turned out so nice and she used all the fabric and used it well.
Micky showed two sets of place mats that she made as gifts. They are both so bright and pretty.
Kris showed her completed alphabet quilt that Marla quilted for her. It really is a beautiful quilt and is beautifully quilted.
Kris also shared some excitement and information about the class she took from Ricky Timms. Nayna attended as well and they both said they learned so much and that we all need to go the the next workshop.
We all had a good time and thanked Nayna and Ilene for their work this past year. We look forward to our new year and new President Cherilyn and her board.
Merry Christmas to everyone and enjoy the holidays.
