March 1 Guild Meeting

Jeannette shared two quilt tops that she has made for the Lund project in Vermont. She likes the BQ block because it goes together so fast.

Alana shared our first two rows for the row of the month.  She made them in several color choices.

Here she's sharing one that she did some years ago.

And Cherilynn shared one that she did.

Kathy Chamberlain shared some quilts that her mother had made.

Pam Young adjusting the horse's tail before showing us her completed landscape.

Margaret showed us a quilt that she made to go with a stuffed animal for the hospital.

Margaret also shared fabric pieces that she dyed in a class at the big quilt show in Phoenix.  She talked about having to rinse out an outrageous amount of fabric in a motel room after the class and then laying them out to dry on black garbage bags set around the room on top of the all-white carpet and furnishings.  And she laughed the whole time that she told the story.  What a good sense of humor.

She also made this in a class at the same show.  Looks like a very interesting technique.
